Mission
The objectives of the Society inter-alia are the following :
To promote the advancement of nuclear science, engineering and technology related to the atomic nucleus, and of allied sciences and arts
To aid in the integration of the several disciplines constituting nuclear science, engineering and technology
To encourage research in nuclear science, engineering, technology and allied fields
To establish scholarships, grants and awards useful in furthering the foregoing objectives
To hold meetings for the presentation and discussion of scientific and technical papers
To prepare and disseminate information related to nuclear science, engineering and technology through journals, books, pamphlets, reports and other information media appropriate to a scientific and technical society
To co-operate with government agencies, educational institutions, and other organisations having the same or similar purposes
To engage in such other activities as may be appropriate for the fulfilment of the objectives of the Society
